But the Senate was told in a previous session that the money was brought into the Philippines by two Chinese high-rollers, one from Macau and one from Beijing.The hackers who infiltrated the computer systems of Bangladesh Bank tried to steal $951 million from its account at the New York Fed although most transactions were blocked.But $81 million was transferred into four RCBC accounts at a single Manila branch, whoch had each been opened with a $500 deposit and remained inactive for almost a year. All of the funds were then transferred to a foreign exchange broker and further distributed.

Tid för att läsa: < 1 minutBangladesh’s central bank governor resigned on Tuesday over the theft of $81 million from the bank’s U.S. account, as details emerged in the Philippines that $30 million of the money was delivered in cash to a casino junket operator in Manila.
The rest of the money hackers stole from the Bangladesh Bank’s account at the New York Federal Reserve, one of the largest cyber heists in history, went to two casinos, officials told a Philippines Senate hearing into the scandal.
They said a mix of dollars and Philippine pesos was sent by a foreign exchange broker to the ethnic Chinese junket operator over several days, a haul that would have been made up of at least 780,000 banknotes.

Tid för att läsa: 2 minuterStaten vill snabbutreda möjligheterna att tvinga svenska internetoperatörer att filtrera utländska spelsajter. Det är delvis gamla planer från 2008 som nu dammas av i samband med att staten vill släppa på spelmonopolet och istället införa en slags licens för spel riktade mot svenska användare.
Skulle planerna bli verklighet, vilket jag innerligt hoppas att de inte blir, så bryter staten en viktig gräns och sällar sig till de stater som har statlig censur och som har hård kontroll över vad medborgarna får och inte får göra. Bakgrunden är att svenska staten vill släppa på det spelmonopol som idag innebär att casinon och spelverksamheter inte får etablera sig i Sverige. Med Internet så finns inte de geografiska begränsningarna och en helt vanligt tv-kväll med reklam visar tydligt ett växande antal spelsajter som marknadsför sig mot svenska användare.
Dett är allt från nätcasinon, pokersajter till lotterier.
Kontroll
Ska Sverige kunna inför ett fungerande licenssystem så krävs naturligtvis kontroll över vilka spelsajter du, jag och alla andra kan tänkas vilja besöka ute på nätet. Därför vill staten snabbutreda filtrering och tvinga på operatörerna ett IP-filter. Icke-licensierade spelsajter ska helt enkelt filtreras bort i det svenska nätet.
Direktiven är klara och tydliga:
Regleringen ska bygga på ett licenssystem som innebär att alla som agerar på den svenska spelmarknaden ska göra det med behöriga tillstånd, och att aktörer utan tillstånd ska stängas ute.
Förslaget är häpnadsväckande tondövt därför att det så påtagligt och tydligt bryter mot en grundläggande princip om ett fritt och öppet nät. Skulle förslaget bli verklighet så kan Sverige ståta med att ha ett Internet som övervakas, filtreras och kontrolleras av staten på samma sätt som är verklighet idag i Kina, Turkiet, Saudi Arabien och andra totalitära staten där demokratin sitter minst sagt trångt.
Licenser
Avskaffa spelmonopolet, utfärda licenser och se till att det är en tydligt kvalitetsstämpel. Ingen vettig människa kommer då att välja att spela på olicensierade spelsajter. Pokerstars exempelvis har idag gällande licenser för spel i alla de länder där det krävs. De kommer naturligtvis skaffa en svensk licens i samma sekund som möjligheten öppnas. Låt licensen sortera ut seriösa spelsajter från oseriösa.
