Alice Cooper has announced the new album ‘The Revenge Of Alice Cooper’, his first with his original band members for over 50 years.
The record will see the veteran rock singer reunited with guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neil Smith for their first LP together since 1973’s ‘Muscle Of Love’.
The Phoenix-based shock rockers released seven studio albums between 1969 and 1973 before Cooper split off to pursue a solo career. As the frontman has told Billboard, however, he and his old bandmates picked up right where they left off.

A Minecraft Movie has grossed over $700 million worldwide, with about $345 million domestically and $376 million internationally. So far, the total is about $721 million.
According to Box Office Mojo, A Minecraft Movie brought in a little over $41 million this past weekend in the United States. $9.5 million came in on Sunday, a nearly 40% drop off from Saturday which brought in $15.8 million, as well as $16 million on Friday. Still, that shouldn’t be too surprising considering this past Sunday was the Easter holiday.
Despite this big milestone, it’s still the second-highest-grossing video game movie ever, continuing to sit behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion. A Minecraft Movie still has a little more than halfway to go if it wants to catch up.

The European Union denies that it has been holding off on fining firms including Apple and Meta because of concerns of reprisals from Trump.
Reports began in January 2025 that the European Union and the European Commission were holding off on fines and rulings as they waited to see the impact of the Trump administration. Then more recently, it was specifically claimed that a decision to announce fines had been delayed at the last moment.
That delay was said to be in order to avoid announcing fines while officials from various EU member states were meeting with Trump to negotiate on tariffs. According to Politico, the EU has now publicly stated that it will enforce its Digital Markets Act (DMA) on any infringing company, whether in the US or not.

“At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the home of the Father. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of his Church,″ Ferrell said.

We deeply appreciate the talented individuals who helped us get here and for their many contributions, and will support them as they transition to new opportunities.”

Parents should be prepared to make difficult decisions over their child’s smartphone usage rather than trying to be their friend, the children’s commissioner for England has said.
Dame Rachel de Souza said this should include parents considering the example they are setting their children through their own phone usage.
Writing in the Sunday Times, de Souza said that “if we are serious about protecting our children, we have to look at our own behaviour”.
She added: “The temptation as a parent to give in to a child’s pleas is a real one. Every parent has been in that position. A few more minutes in front of the television to keep them out from under your feet … A new smartphone, ignoring the nagging voice in your head that questions it, because ‘all my friends have one’, despite knowing how much time you spend on your own smartphone.
