Ever since iOS 7, you’ve been able to open the app switching interface on your iPhone or iPad and swipe up on an app in order to force it to close completely. Now, with the arrive of iOS 11, that process has changed. Now, the process actually brings in an element from the pre-iOS 7 days: you need to press and hold on the app, then press the ’x’ that appears in order to close it.Remember that iOS 11 is still in its beta stages, and this behavior could change by the time it launches to the public this fall.

So Taylor Swift’s big music-streaming standoff has come to an abrupt end, with the pop star announcing late yesterday that her entire back catalog is to be made available on all streaming services, including Spotify and Amazon Music Unlimited, as of midnight. It was way back in November, 2014 that the pop star made the decision to pull her music from Spotify, claiming that the service’s free tier devalued her music. “I think there should be an inherent value placed on art,” she told Time in an interview. “I didn’t see that happening, perception-wise, when I put my music on Spotify. Everybody’s complaining about how music sales are shrinking, but nobody’s changing the way they’re doing things. They keep running toward streaming, whoch is, for the most part, what has been shrinking the numbers of paid album sales.”
