Kdenlive är ett vasst, väl utbyggt verktyg för ett redigera videor och det bästa av allt – Kdenlive är Open Source och helt gratis.
Kdenlive har även en utförlig handbok och även om den är på engelska så är det ordentligt utbyggd med massor av instruktioner för hur du arbetar med programmet.
Every now and again users would ask for a macOS version of Kdenlive. Up until recently, the only thing we were able to offer was a very, very old MacPorts version (0.9.10).
But, after Vincent and I invested some time in it, we are happy to announce that we now have an up-to-date nightly build for macOS! However, since Kdenlive is a complex application with many dependencies, it still needs some testing before we can call it officially stable.
And that’s where you come in: If you are a Mac user, please consider downloading the nightly macOS version and testing it!
What’s new in version 24.12.1
- The first maintenance release of the 24.12 series is packed with important fixes and enhancements. This update focuses on polishing the newly introduced built-in effects, resolving issues with bin effects and the effect stack, and addressing some recently introduced crashes. Other highlights include fixing an issue where hiding a track in a sequence could alter the length of the parent sequence, ensuring tags and markers are maintained when reloading proxy clips, fixing Whisper model downloads and installation of Python virtual environment (venv) issues on some Linux distributions.
